Last Minute Gift Guide

Christmas is only a week away and if you're still struggling to find someone a gift then maybe I can help! I've gathered ten products/items which would make great gifts, they are more catered towards the beauty lover, but could easily work for just about anyone. And yes, I've pinched a few things from my own wishlist...

Well, Christmas is over, boo, but I had a very lovely day. And I received some very lovely gifts so I thought I'd share them today (plus as this is like my online diary, it's nice to be able to look back and remember).

What I Got For Christmas 2012

Well, it's safe to say I had a lovely and hectic Christmas. Screaming when I opened my unexpected present from my mum at 3am (sorry neighbours and granddad), Christmas dinner at 11.30pm, eating a butt load of chocolate (mmm Ferrero Rocher...), nearly getting stabbed in the hand by my best friend while we were cutting vegetables were all just a small chunk out of my day.

Here are a few photos of the presents I received this year, I am so so happy with everything and I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone. I am so grateful for the amazing people I have around me. I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas - and I hope you all get some amazing deals today!

Christmas Gift Guide - Beauty Edition

Hey guys, so for this post I decided to do a Christmas gift guide. It's a good price range so there's something for everyone! And a few (all) of these items are on my wish list... ahem. :)

Lancome Miniature Fragrance Set - £20.40
This is a lovely set of five mini Lancome perfumes. I think this is the fun alternative route of giving someone a perfume or perfume gift set for Christmas. It gives the person a variety and a chance to try out some new perfumes if they haven't already tried them out before.

Soap and Glory Small Wonders Mini Hat Box - £10
I love, love, love Soap and Glory and I think this is such a nice gift to give someone to introduce them to Soap and Glory. There's a bit of everything and for only £10 I think it's a bargain.

Diptyque Figuier Scented Candle - £38
(Not really beauty but it smells great!) Getting someone a luxurious candle to a candle lover would just make their day, and Diptyque is one of the most well known luxurious brands that offer the most beautiful candles. I would love to find this under the tree.

OPI Bond-ettes Mini Set - £12.50
You cannot go wrong with nail polish and you can't go wrong with OPI, especially a cute mini set! I have a few mini sets and I love them, and I wouldn't mind adding this set to my (large) collection of nail polishes. This is one of OPI's newest collections and the colours are gorgeous!

I think this is a lovely gift for someone who loves yummy shower gels and someone who already loves the brand or someone who is yet to be introduced to it.

Origins Christmas Bauble - £6
I think this is such a cute idea! I would absolutely love this to be hanging on my tree, this cute little thing includes a set of Origins best selling products in travel sizes. It's a great way to introduce someone to the brand and skin care.

I hope this helps! Happy shopping, oh, and remember, there is no harm in getting any of this stuff for yourself :)

    Shoebox 2012

Christmas is coming up which means everyone is starting to spend, spend and spend! Shopping centres will start ballooning with the amount of people racing in and out of the shops and pushing and shoving will be even more unavoidable in Oxford Street. That's all fine and worth it right? You're buying gifts for someone, you're going to make someone smile on Christmas morning. Personally, I love giving gifts to people, I love knowing I can make them happy with just a little effort.

But what about the children that don't get anything on Christmas morning, or even on their birthday etc? Children who live in shelters have no one to visit them and definitely no one to give them a gift. A shoebox full of wonderful little gifts are sure to make a child happy and feel loved and know that someone out there cares and are thinking of them. All you have to do is fill a shoebox full of anything you know a child will love and send it off! It's as simple as that.

Details can be found here or here, either way, you're going to make someone happy.

I remember I did a shoebox years ago when I was still in primary school, I filled it to the brim with new, fun (and glittery) things I knew someone my own age would absolutely love. It's always nice to know you've made someone's day, but remember you're doing it for them, not for you. There are loads of ideas and advice on what to put in the box, but the biggest tip I can give is to do it from the heart.

Thank you for reading! Let's make this a wonderful Christmas for everyone, I've got to start getting things ready for my box, oh and my lovely friends and family ;)
