Bright Pink Lips
Oh I do love a good bright pink lip, so today I'm going to show you the few that I have in my collection. (Plug in, I did an orange lips edit last Summer, and seeing as orange is a big colour for this Spring/Summer then why don;t you go check that out ;) ). Okay, onto the pinks.

My MAC Lipsticks
I don't have a lot of MAC lipsticks but the ones I do own I adore (well a part from one). MAC are well known for their lipsticks, and it's always so exciting getting a new one (even though the price is now £15, say whaaat?). But I thought I'd show you my small, humble collection.

Orange Lips
I'm currently loving the look of orange lips so I thought I'd get together a few of my orange lip picks all of which I will be wearing a lot this Summer.

Smooth Lips
It has been super cold here in London (and all over the UK) and we've been getting snow! Yay for snow but nay to dry, chapped lips. But, for the first time, during the cold, Winter months my lips have actually not been dry or chapped and I have these products to thank.
The Nuxe Reve de Miel is just so wonderful. I use this at night time after my lips have been victim to the radiators being on full blast as soon as I get in. I use this after I give my lips a good scrub with Lush's Bubblegum Lip Scrub which is just so lovely. Using a scrub will help get rid of any dry skin on your lips leaving smooth lips thus giving the perfect canvas for lipstick, lipgloss etc. (If you don't have a lip scrub or don't want to buy one, just mix some sugar with some vaseline).
The Korres Lip Butters are something I use while I am just wandering around the house, I don't tend to use these outside as I don't like the idea of sticking my finger into the pot and rubbing the product on my lips while I am outside in the dirty city, haha, I'm just kidding, London isn't that dirty - but I am a little bit of a germaphobe... so no. But these are so smooth and buttery, they feel lovely on the lips.
Now, the lip balm I do use outside is the Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm. These are so moisturising and just so convenient for carrying around in my bag (I actually carry one in my bag and one in my coat pocket). These leave a nice bit of colour on your lips but more importantly they moisturise and protect your lips from the cold, harsh wind.
So these are the lip products I have been using to keep my lips smooth and moisturised. I go on a lot about lip products but it's just because I love them so much! And I do think it's important to keep your lips looking good as it's one of the first things people notice about you.
All my January exams are finally over now so I am free for a few months, yay!
I hope everyone is having a lovely day.

Inexpensive Lip Care
Winter is creeping on us so the weather is turning cold and harsh as I have already mentioned. At this time of year, and I know I am not alone on this, my lips get dry and chapped. In previous years I just used to rely on Vaseline - not a good idea. I'm not a huge fan of Vaseline so much any more as I've noticed it just coats my lips (and skin) instead of actually moisturising and nourishing - therefore I have abandoned Vaseline and am now taking real good care of my lips, using inexpensive products, yay!
(Baby Lips, the Basins Lip Scrub and Rose Salve are all purchases I made while I was in Miami in the Summer therefore it may be hard trying to get your hands on them over here in the UK but you can just get similar products.)
Maybelline Baby Lips in Pink Punch - Carmex - Carmex Tube Cherry - C.O. Bigelow Rose Salve - Basins Lip Scrub in Raspberry - Blistex Intensive Moisturiser
The original Carmex is looking a bit tattered because I have had it for a couple of years but it is still going strong and doing its job. Carmex is a saviour amongst people who get dry lips - it literally wipes away all the dead skin and leaves them super smooth. When you apply it it leaves a tingly sensation on your lips - so you know it's definitely working! The cherry tube does the same thing except it leaves bit more of a glossy look to your lips and it has a cherry scent. I like to carry the tube around with me as it's easier to apply.
I've mentioned how I use the Blistex Intensive Moisturiser here but essentially I just apply it on my lips before I go to bed and I wake up with soft, smooth lips.
The lib scrub was actually my first lip scrub purchase, I was eyeing up Lush's lip scrub before I left for America, but while I was in Basins in Downtown Disney (haha I know) I just had to get it because it smelt amazing. You basically just apply this to wet lips, scrub it in using a circular motion with your finger then you can either wash or lick it off because it's all natural ingredients. I like to use this once or twice a week when I feel my lips need a bit more TLC.
Baby Lips is one of my favourite lip balms, firstly it smells lovely (you may have noticed I like products that smell good) and it leaves a really pretty colour on your lips while leaving them soft and moisturised - an all in one product for a really good price.
I love these products but I am eyeing up Nuxe's Reve de Miel Lip Balm and I will be purchasing this soon. Like really soon. I tried it on when I went to my friend Serena's house and Marta and I both fell in love with it and couldn't stop applying (and sniffing) it. So if you're in the market for a really amazing lip balm - I recommend this.
I hope you're all doing well!

Autumn/Winter Lip Colours
I think Autumn/Winter is my favourite time of year when it comes to make up and fashion. The colours are beautiful and don't even get me started on the cute sweaters and chunky cardigans. In Autumn/Winter I like to get out the bold lip colours that I couldn't get away with in the day time in Spring/Summer. So, I have got together my favourite lip colours for this time of year, note: some you can totally wear in Spring/Summer.
elf Studio Matte Lip Colour in Praline - Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Crush - Illamasqua Lipstick in Magnetism - Rimmel Kate Moss Lasting Finish Lipstick in 022 - Rimmel Kate Matte Lipstick in Vibrant Coral - elf Mineral Lipstick in Rich Raspberry
This is a nice matte colour from the elf's studio collection. It glides on just as you would expect a matte colour would, it is a little drying on the lips so I suggest putting on lip balm a few minutes before you apply this.
Next up is one of my favourite products at the moment, Revlon's Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Crush (that's always a mouthful). You just glide this on your lips and it instantly adds colour to your lips which lasts for a good amount of time and it also moisturises your lips. If you haven't tried out these balm stains yet I definitely suggest you do! And this colour if perfect for this time of year.
This beautiful lipstick from Illamasqua is in the shade Magnetism, I got it when I went to the Illamasqua store for one of their pop in beauty school sessions. It was my first time trying out such a bold colour and I instantly fell in love with it and I just had to buy it. The lipstick quality is wonderful and I just can't get enough of this colour.
This beautiful colour is Vibrant Coral from Kate Moss' collection for Rimmel. It's a matte colour but (and I love this) it does not feel matte on your lips at all - it actually feels so moisturising! I was pleasantly surprised (and I quite like the smell of them too). The packaging is super cute too.
This is another lipstick from Kate Moss' collection for Rimmel but not in the matte collection. It's a very pretty, wearable red.
Next up is another elf product but this is from their mineral collection. This is super soft and feels really nice on the lips. It's a pretty colour and really wearable for everyday.
So these are my favourite colours for the Autumn/Winter months, this is not to say these are the only colours I wear at this time of year, oh no, I am still a pinky/coral girl ;)
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend!
