The Best Beauty Advice I've Learnt Online
I have been an avid watcher and reader of YouTube and blogs since I was 16 when Michelle Phan was the queen of the beauty guru realm on YouTube. Since then I have learnt so much about beauty and the beauty industry that today I thought I'd round up some of the top tips and advice I have learnt.

FOTD #2
Benefit Dallas Blush - YSL Touche Eclat - Revlon Just Bitten Kissable in Honey - Estee Lauder Eye Shadow Palette - Maybelline Great Lash Mascara - Rimmel Scandal Eyes Kajal - Benefit High Brow Pencil - elf Eyelid Primer in Sheer - Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil in Black Brown
I found my little Estee Lauder eye shadow palette (you know the ones you get in a big gift bag) and decided to use it as I've only ever used it once. So, I made a little bit of an effort on a Monday morning. I don't wear eyes shadow everyday as A. I don't have the time. B. My eyelids get oily so by the end of the day my eye shadow has disappeared (even with primer!). So I tend to wear eye shadow on a night/evening out, but generally Mondays are short days for me so I thought why not? I just applied Honey Drop all over the lid, then applied Cinnamon on the outer corner and dabbed a bit of the ivory box in the inner corner, lined my eyes with a pencil for a softer look and I was rushing out the door (I was a few minutes late to class, whoops).
Thanks for reading, hope you have a lovely week! (And I know, double post today woo! Not woo? Woo for me, woo!)

October Favourites
Well, it has most definitely been a hectic month for me. You may have noticed my lack of posts, that's because I've moved! So I haven't had a lot of time to try out new products or even do my make up properly, it's literally been very basic for me this past month. However, winter is coming (Game of Thrones anyone?) so the weather has been turning cold and harsh. So, my favourites this month are mainly revolved around keeping my skin moisturised and looking good.
Illamasqua lipstick in Magnetism - elf Mineral lipstick in Rich Raspberry - MAC lipstick in Sunny Seoul - Body Shop Moringa body butter - Soap and Glory Righteous Butter - Soap and Glory Heel Genius - Soap and Glory Hand Food - Smashbox blush in Radiance - Carmex Tube Cherry - Revlon Just Bitten Balm Stain in Crush - Blistex Intensive Moisturiser - MUA eye shadow palette in Undressed
All these lipsticks (and the balm stain) have been great this past month as not only do they give my lips a lovely colour but they also keep my lips moisturised which is what I need this time of year. For actual lip care I have been using a lot of Carmex during the day and before I apply my lipsticks. I apply the Blistex cream at night before I go to bed and I wake up with really soft, moisturised lips.
Body Shop's body butter in Moringa is my absolute favourite body shop butter - it's so moisturising and it smells just divine. Soap and Glory's Righteous Butter crept its way to share the glory of favourite body moisturiser next to Moringa the first time I used it - it's ever so moisturising and again it just smells incredible. I use either one of these body butters after a shower everyday (so I go through a lot) - they just keep my skin moisturised and happy. Soap and Glory's Heel Genius is a wonderful foot cream (won't go into much detail because I dislike feet), it keeps my feet soft and smooth. Soap and Glory's Hand Food is my favourite hand cream ever - it keeps my hands moisturised for a long time without leaving my hands greasy - and again it smells incredible.
I have been using this Smashbox blush pretty much everday - it looks like a crazy hot pink in the pan but just a soft sweep on the cheeks makes them look like natural rosy cheeks. The MUA palette is crazy cheap - it's called Undressed (it's basically a super cheap dupe of Urban Decay's Naked palette). The colours are great - it has a range of matte and shimmers and dark and light - it's very versatile.
A close up of the colours:
So these are my October favourites - I hope you enjoyed this post. I've almost settled into my new flat so expect loads more frequent posts!
I hope you all had a good October and have a happy November!

FOTD
Today I woke up a bit late (and it had nothing to do with the fact that I went to bed late due to the caffeine pills I had taken earlier, nope) so I didn't have too much time to do my make up. Therefore, I kept it pretty simple.
elf Mineral Blush (Bliss) - Dior Bronzer - Rimmel Scandal Eyes Black - Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil- YSL Touche Eclat - Benefit High Brow - Maybelline Great Lash - Revlon Just Bitten Balm Stain - Make Up Forever Full Cover - Sephora Eyelash Curlers
I love these products a lot and these are my go-to products on a daily basis (except the elf blush is new, so I just wanted to try it out). If my skin isn't looking too great I usually apply a bit of Benefit That Gal Primer and sometimes might add a bit of mineral foundation, but today I was having a good skin day so I didn't feel the need to put anything on my face. I switch my lip product everyday, but today I felt like having a bold lip so I used Revlon's Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Crush - I absolutely adore these things!
I use the YSL Touche Eclat under my eyes and the Make Up Forever Full Cover on any blemishes such as on my chin and around my nose.
The Dior bronzer is new to my collection, my mum gave it to me (yay) and I love it! It's so matte and it has SPF which is always a bonus - I just sweeped it along my cheekbones and jawline to contour a little and to add some colour to my skin.
I am loving Rimmel's Scandal Eyes eye pencils (I have one in nude too), they're so long lasting and so soft - probably the best eye pencils I have ever used.
So that's just a quick summary of the products I used today. I hope everyone had a lovely day!
